Mooring Boat Sinks in Mexico...Two Missing

A mooring boat sank at Pajaritos Oil Terminal in Mexico.

The boat PEMEX 365 lost control while unmooring crude oi vessell SEA VINE(IMO 926687) in the Gulf of Mexico.

The tanker which was loaded with crude was headed for Port Arthur, USA.

While conducting unmooring exercises, strong currents created by two assisting tugs propellers, pushed boat towards pier. Boat PEMEX 365 colluded with pier and sank.

Seven crew members on board were rescued while two others are still missing. Tanker left harbor Pajaritos as scheduled, ETA Port Arthur Jul 19.
