Newly-Appointed Tin Can Comptroller Outlines Code of Duties

The newly appointed Customs Area Comptroller of Tin Can Command Compt. Mohammed Abdullahi Baba Musa has declared his three (3) core areas of administration in delivering his mandate at the Command.
The core areas are: to raise revenue, to increase transparency and integrity and to facilitate trade legitimately.
The CAC made this known through his Public Relations Officer Mr. Uche Ejesieme during a media chat held at the Command. The Comptroller iterated the Command under his administration intends to comply with the Trade Facilitation Agreement signed in Berlin Germany which came into effect in 2017.Through this measure the Command would foresee all hiccups and bottlenecks militating against the business value chain are curbed.
In Compt. Musa’s agenda of service delivery the Command would generate a Time Release Studies (TRS) that would monitor trade declarations; ensure adherence to due diligence in service delivery; verify the times entries are logged in, captured, examined…
