ANALCA SEEKS WAYS TO COMBAT OPERATIONAL CHALLENGES FACE-OFF WITH CUSTOMS OFFICERS.

The Association of Nigerian  Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has met with the Comptroller General of Customs Col. Hameed Ali (Rtd) at the Customs Headquarters Abuja to discuss avenues to enhance Licensed Customs Agents’ operational challenges encountered at the delivery of cargoes in the ports. Also among the issues discussed are  ways through which the Executive Order as instructed  by the Acting Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo on ease of doing business at the ports can be achieved.
The ANALCA delegation led by the National President Chief Olayiwola Shittu in the company of the Board of Trustee Chairman Chief Henry Njoku highlighted the challenges faced by the association in relation to not receiving commensurate cooperation from the officers of Nigeria Customs Service in their determination to assist the service in raising the level of revenue collection.
