Bala Usman Inspects Construction Progress In Apapa Ports

In line with the Federal Government Executive Order on the Ease of Doing Business at the ports the Managing Director of Nigeria Ports Authority Miss Hadiza Bala Usman has conducted a tour inspecting the progress of work at the reconstruction site.

Addressing newsmen during the guided tour held in Apapa the NPA chieftain obseverd that the Federal Government is wholly committed to ensuring the ports are effectively and efficiently serviced in order to tap into the financial dividend accruable to the economy. According to her this would impact most positively to the nation's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Usman stated that the inspection was part of NPA's continuous aggressive monitoring strategy aimed at ensuring that all the components required to meet the deadlines are achieved.

She assured stakeholders that efforts were underway by the Federal Government to facilitate express funding of the project which she stressed would create a more enabling environment  for ease of doing business at the ports. This she also emphasized would attract investments to the sub-sector.

The MD of the ports noted that the government would appreciate swifter working modules by the construction company A. G . Dangote.
