The Nigerian Ports Authority has been lauded for its appointment of Messrs Lean & Agile Project Consultant as the facilitator of projects in the host community.

The commendation was made by the Chairman Delta Seaports Stakeholders’ Association Mr. Emiko Oghomienor to the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman, over the recent appointment of Messrs Lean & Agile Project Consultants to carry out project the needs assessment in NPA host communities in Delta State.

The chairman emphasized the engagement would, “forestall further hijack of NPA host communities’ projects,” by some elected representatives under the guise of constituency projects.

The statement stressed read that NPA Warri host communities “have received Messrs Lean & Agile Project Consultants who have carried out project needs assessment exercise in the NPA Warri host communities”.
The statement added, the move will ensure that NPA's projects in the immediate future are not only situated across the host communities, but designed to meet the needs of the community.

The association restated its desire to pay a solidarity visit to Ms Usman in the nearest future with a view to strengthening the working relationship geared towards boosting commercial activities in Delta Ports.

Expressing optimism that the initiative will be pursued by Usman to a fruitful end, Delta Seaports Stakeholders’ Association assured the NPA boss of its preparedness to organise the host communities in a bid to collaborate with the agency towards achieving the laudable objective.
